The recognition of the Denomination of Controlled Origin for the wines of Conegliano Valdobbiadene dates back to 1969, making the 2019 annual report the 50th by the Study Center of the District of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. Exactly 50 years from the beginning of DOC in the region, it has been awarded the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is thanks to the unstoppable success of this community of producers, who are all committed to the enhancement of an excellent product. The numbers are clear: 57 million bottles were sold in the domestic market and 33 million in foreign markets, recording a 6% increase in sales in Italy. A growth trend confirmed by the data concerning the Follador Company, which in 2019 made 68% of sales in Italy and 32% Abroad; an extremely significant figure, because the internal market is notoriously made up of very demanding and informed consumers, who demand products that live up to their expectations. Companies are required to provide precise guarantees to protect health, products in line with specific food needs, such as vegan friendly and free sugar, the use of equipment and processes that safeguard the environment, restoration and safekeeping of the magnificent landscape that it is the flagship of the territory. All commitments that the Follador Company has always stood for in absolute transparency.
