Delicate and fresh: Follador Prosecco signaled on The Times Magazine

“In some places prosecco has a low reputation, but here it is practically impossible to find defects”.

The Times Magazine refers to our Prosecco Superiore DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene. In the publication, Follador Prosecco was included in the exclusive selection of the six wines recommended for holiday purchases of 2019. Another note of merit, it is the only prosecco to make this ranking.

The chosen wine is the CRU Torri di Credazzo, the flagship in the category of Superiors, whose grapes come from the vineyards owned by the family. A long Charmat, the wine is delicate, elegant to the nose and is characterized by hints of apple, peach and rose petals.

Prosecco Follador is a DOC wine that has also received the DOCG designation. This designation includes extremely strict regulations and strict controls that Prosecco Superiore Follador has brilliantly exceeded. The grapes in fact must come from the area strictly defined by the law and the process of sparkling wine and bottling can only take place in the province of Treviso. At the end of the process, it is mandatory that the State Seal be applied to the bottle. The authoritative recognition confirms the international importance of Follador Prosecco as the best accompaniment to end-of-year celebrations and the marking of the winery’s 250th anniversary.

La scelta di sigillare le bottiglie con lo spago non deriva da una specifica motivazione di carattere tecnico, ma dall’intento di perpetuare una tradizione secolare che risale alle origini stesse del Prosecco frizzante.
