On Sunday April 7th, the 53rd edition of Vinitaly will be inaugurated in Verona. It’s one of the most important international events related to the world of wine, dedicated to professionals in the wine trade. As with every year, a series of complimentary events are scheduled alongside the exhibition, such as wine and distillate tastings and a wide range of forums, seminars and conferences on current issues in the drinks industry.
Now the event will reach beyond the fair venue; Vinitaly will encompas the entire city with a full roster of concerts, meetings, guided tours and many other activities that will enliven the already evocative central Scaliger district. The many wine lovers who will participate in these events will spend the whole day tasting, learning, networking, and discovering in a lively and cosmopolitan context.
Follador has been participating in Vinitaly since 1985, so this will be our thirty-fourth appearance there. At our first Vinitaly appearance, Prosecco had already achieved the Denomination of Controlled Origin, but it wasn’t until 2009 that the recognition of the D.O.C.G happened.
In addition to being an irreplaceable opportunity to meet and exchanging ideas with enthusiasts, sommeliers and buyers; for us this year is also a chance to celebrate the important 250th anniversary of Follador- commemorated by the elegant Limited Edition of our Brut Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG
We look forward to seeing you in Hall 5, Area F5 to share this and more news.
