Follador Prosecco Arrives in Cannes for TFWA 2019.

The global summit for international travellers becomes a premium showcase for the top products of the famous Prosecco producer.

From 29 September to 4 October 2019, Follador will be at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, the premier event for travel retailers. The halls at TFWA will host the top names from the duty free industry and all the companies and organisations which gravitate around this ever-growing sector. Follador will be presenting its D.O.C.G. wines, a sample of the excellence of a region which was recently named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

On that particular note, Cristina Follador, the estate’s Sales & Marketing Director, said:

“This year Follador is celebrating its 250th anniversary. It is an important milestone and coincides with Conegliano Valdobbiadene receiving UNESCO status, making us doubly proud to belong to an area which has such a unique landscape and excellences and therefore deserves protecting and safeguarding”.

One of the events at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference is Women in Travel Retail scheduled for 1 October and sponsored by Follador. It will raise funds for women, especially in poor countries, who have to overcome many obstacles to lead a dignified life and are often the victims of violence and exploitation: a theme that is close to the company’s heart.

TFWA also has a busy programme of high-profile conferences and workshops, an opportunity to share views on how the desires and needs of international travellers evolve in an ever-changing world.

La scelta di sigillare le bottiglie con lo spago non deriva da una specifica motivazione di carattere tecnico, ma dall’intento di perpetuare una tradizione secolare che risale alle origini stesse del Prosecco frizzante.
