Laelia: our new Prosecco D.O.C. Rosé

A rosé version joins the other excellences of the Follador brand.

A new, much-anticipated wine has joined the Follador D.O.C. range: our Prosecco D.O.C. Rosé Millesimato Brut “Laelia”, obtained from a refined blend of Glera grapes and 10% Pinot Nero, produced using “on-the-skins” vinification in accordance with regulations. We have given it the name of a magnificent variety of orchid, whose gorgeous pink colours bring to mind the brilliant hues of this wine, a remarkable rosé whose very fine and lingering bead adds to its overall elegance.

We chose to produce a Brut version because we feel it enhances the properties of the two grape varieties, producing a pleasant balance of acidity and residual sugar on the palate, rounded off with a barely noticeable hint of sapidity.

The new Prosecco Rosé Millesimato, like all our products, is produced using the Gianfranco Follador Method. Secondary fermentation takes place in autoclaves with the Martinotti (Charmat) method, with steady fermentation followed by a long period on the yeasts at 0°. This exclusive production process enhances its rich and fruity flavour, with its aroma of apple and white peach enriched with pleasant notes of red fruits, blackberries, wild strawberries and blackcurrants.

This fresh, vivacious and lively wine makes an immediate impression on the palate. Ideal as a toast on special occasions, an aperitif among friends or an accompaniment to delicate dishes of different culinary traditions, it is also perfect after a meal. An irresistible and enjoyable sparkling experience, a new excellence from the Follador estate.

Quality you recognize.
