Toasting at the finale of the BMW Golf Cup

The National Final of the BMW Golf Cup International will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Sardinia at the beautiful Is Molas Golf Club, which is frequently ranked in the top 10 golf courses in Italy and among the best in Europe. It is already home to the Italian Open and other major international competitions. About a half an hour drive from the town of Cagliari, Is Molas is home to a 27-hole course that spans nearly ten kilometers of native landscaping. The reknowned hospitality of the island of Sardinia is embodied in the magnificent resort setting with excellent accommodations and an on-site restaurant specializing in traditional local dishes.

Sardinia has a long tradition in the wine industry, with the main agricultural crop from the island now being from the vine. Many of those vines are native varieties, which have found their ideal habitat here by adapting to the mild year-round climate, the fertility of the soil, and the winds coming from the sea.

La Finale BMW Golf Cup brinda con Follador

In recent decades the main Sardinian producers have re-committed themselves to promoting and enhancing the quality of Sardinian wine with several making waves internationally: Cannonau, Vermentino, Campidano and numerous local variationas of Malvasia.

Still, at the National Final of the BMW tournament, golfers and spectators will have the opportunity to taste a wine from a distant terroir:Prosecco Follador, which is the official supplier of the event. As always, we wish everyone a day of sporting spirit, friendly conviviality, and relaxation. See you at the next edition of the BMW Golf Cup.
